Explore Nuremberg
…with children
A trip to Nuremberg is particularly interesting for families with children. A highlight for children from the age of 3 is certainly the Playmobil Fun Park, where we offer accommodation and admission at special rates. The Nuremberg Zoo with its extensive grounds and many attractions is interesting for young and old alike. During the Christmas season we recommend the Nuremberg Christmas Market where you can still meet the Christ Child in person 🙂 .
…for those interested in culture
there is truly a lot to discover in Nuremberg – for example Nuremberg’s long night of art and culture “the blue night”. This offers you more than 300 programme points in over 80 institutions, courtyards and on many squares. Nuremberg also has numerous museums, the Nuremberg State Theatre and a cultural-historical mile that lets you explore the most important medieval buildings on foot.
…for beer lovers
Nuremberg and beer – that’s almost a synonym. Countless small and large breweries await you with local beer specialities that are well worth trying. As a beer lover, we would like to recommend two events in May and June: The Franconian Beer Festival in Nuremberg and the Erlangen Mountain Church Fair.
…for shopping fans
Europe’s oldest and largest pedestrian zone in Nuremberg’s historic Old Town offers lifestyle and fashion from budget to high-end. If you’re into young and hip fashion labels, start your shopping spree at the White Tower or Lorenzkirche and stroll past international trend shops, street cafés and unusual retail outlets along Breite Gasse.
…for night owls
The Best Western Hotel Nuremberg at the main station is the ideal starting point for all night owls. From here you can reach all the well-known clubs and venues comfortably and safely by public transport or by taxi. Depending on your taste in music and the desired ambience, we will be happy to recommend the hottest venues to you.
